Volunteer with TEAM

Volunteer with TEAM

It takes a village.

The sport of eventing would not exist without the efforts of volunteers, and TEAM is no exception! Volunteering is also a great way to learn more about the sport and to meet the wonderful people who share our passion for horses and eventing.

Reminder to All Members:
In order to qualify for year-end awards, all members must contribute at least 4 hours of volunteering during the year. Friends and Family can volunteer in place of a member. If you are volunteering in place of a member, you must include the members full name when recording your volunteer hours. It is the the members, and or friends/family responsibility to record their volunteering hours.

Events and Activities Count:

Only TEAM events and work days count for volunteer hours. Other shows and clinics that are listed on our calendar DO NOT count as volunteer hours.

If you have any questions, please use our Contact Page

Please use the link below to submit your volunteer hours.

Events:
There would be no eventing competitions without volunteers! From pre-show set up, to jumping judging for cross country, to clean-up afterward, this sport is powered by volunteers. To help out, see the event’s omnibus listing and contact the listed organizer or volunteer coordinator.

Honey Run maintenance:
The jumps and equipment at the Honey Run Easement are owned by TEAM. Work days are scheduled once or twice a year so that TEAM members who school or compete at Honey Run can pitch in help maintain this unique resource. Watch for announcements on the TEAM homepage or "Like"  the TEAM Facebook page to get alerts about a time that you can help out!

Local course maintenance:
Several of our other beautiful Michigan eventing venues also host volunteer work days, sometimes in exchange for a chance to school their excellent cross country courses. Again, watch for announcements on the TEAM homepage or "Like" the TEAM Facebook page to get alerts about a time that you can help out!
