Recognizes outstanding horsemanship

• Meagan Majchszak
  As I attempt to learn to ride, I am forever in awe of my daughter’s art of riding, handling and training horses. Watching her ride and connect with her horse is like watching a beautiful dance every time. The subtleties of their movement are so fluid and in sync. She always puts her horse’s health and care at the forefront of everything, in addition to her love for him. And it shows through his willingness to do anything she asks of him.

• Alessandra Pedinelli
  Alessandra i think deserves this award because of how well she cares for her horse Penny. With the countless schooling, events & equestrian team obligations, she always find to take care and appreciate Penny. It’s been a pleasure seeing both of them grow as a team, through the good times and the struggles.

Carolyn Van Cise Trophy
Recognizes an outstanding TEAM support person

Nominations:

• Daniel Michaels
  I want to nominate Daniel for the countless hours that he volunteers in many capacities with TEAM, but especially with helping out at the Equijenn events with Jenn. He has helped out in various roles and helped Jenn with whatever she needed. I know he would’ve rather been competing, but with his many Covid infections, and his long recovery, it just wasn’t in the cards, so he helped where he could. I think Daniel is very deserving of this award because of his dedication to TEAM over the many years.

• Haley Williams
  Haley has unfortunately not been able to do much with TEAM during Covid, due to the border being closed, but she tries to help out as much as she can, and i think she deserves to be recognized for her support.

Sporting Chance Trophy
Awarded to owner of a horse that contributes to the advancement of multiple riders

Nominations:

• Magic
  I would like to nominate Magic, who I had the privilege to lease for a couple of years, and she is an amazing horse who was a big hit with, and was ridden by a number of girls on the Mercy HS & Lakeland HS equestrian teams. She also helped many of the girls with eventing from starter to novice, Magic helped all of us learn and grow as riders, and helped us learn how to be a team, and trust one another. Magic is very deserving of this award

• Beamer
  Beamer has helped a couple of kids learn how to ride, and now events, and is a great horse, and I think deserves this trophy.

Molly Bucci Memorial Award
Awarded to the top horse show parent of the year. Sponsored by Emily Nett Eventing

• Tammy Dring
  She is the most supportive mom there is, & I really can’t thank her enough. She helps me with everything and anything and I truly couldn’t do it without her.

• Holly Gootee-Sullivan
  Holly has gone above and beyond this year at Cedar Ridge helping all of the families that are new to eventing learn the ropes. She is always willing to offer her patient guidance and wisdom to both parents and students, and she is an invaluable member of the local community.

• Irina Ghinescu
  I might be biased but I truly think my mom is the BEST horse show mom! Always so supportive even then things don’t go so well! Always come prepared with everything, food to literally feed an army, multiple changes of clothes, etc! She’s always there for me and I love her so much! And thats why I think she should get this award!

• Stephanie Danko
  - Steph is always willing to help and makes herself available to volunteer even when it’s not convenient. She’s helpful, knowledgeable,and has a great attitude. She is much deserving of recognition.
  - Stephanie has volunteered and supported her daughter at every horse show they have attended this year. She has put numerous amounts of time helping setting up and tearing down for horse shows. Along with that she always brings great snacks and a smile.

• Susan Hilla
  Susan is one of the most supportive horse show parents I've ever met. Not only is she there for her own kid, Jordan Hilla, she's more than willing to help out others around her.

Mr. Sandman Trophy
Recognizes outstanding sportsmanship

Nominations:

• Giuliana Rau
  Giuliana had an amazing attitude throughout the season. She took everything in stride, celebrated small victories, and chalked up challenges as learning experiences. She was a source of positive energy for her teammates and a constant cheerleader.

• Camilla Baldini
  Camilla is a wonderful, passionate and helpful teammate who gives it her all
